Kroger Tx/La 50% Kelloggs/Keebler Sale on Saturday

I gave you a heads up here about the 50% sale that is going on tommorrow. Well, I tried to get a list of participating products for our region, but was told it would not be released until Saturday in the stores. I also posted the link to the post on HCW here of a list for a different region. Well, I am hearing rumors that the Kashi is not going to be in our sale, but until the list for our region is released, we are just going to have to use the list that is posted.

I retyped the list in google docs so I could add current prices of these items. Remember, this list is NOT the official Tx/La list. I hope to get one soon and tweak the google doc to fit what IS on our list. I also hope to add coupon matchups as time allows, but at least you will have a ballpark pricing list to go by. These prices were collected by me yesterday in Sugar Land. I do know there are some Kellogg's and Keebler coupons at Coupons.com , Redplum , and Kellogg's.

If anyone gets ahold of an actual list for our region, please feel free to contact me to update the google document for everyones benefit! Enjoy!

Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the google doc for additinoal coupons like money off coffee wyb cereal, etc

Dec 10th- Write it on your Calendar - Disney Double Points

I logged into Disney Movie Rewards to enter my daily code for 5 points (Darwin) that I blogged about here and my message center had a new message. Double points day! December 10th will be double points day, so be sure to get your codes together for that day (up to 3 will be doubled). I know I bought the Up combo recently and I think I have at least one other movie code waiting to be entered.
Just be sure to confirm you receive the bonus for each code you enter. The last bonus day, I did not receive the bonus for Tinkerbell the Lost Treasure. I used the contact us link and was credited the bonus points a couple days later!

Free International Delight coffee creamer

International delight is giving out free pints of their coffee creamer. Well, coupons for them anyway. Just become a fan on facebook and after that, click the coupon tab and you will be able to print 2 coupons for a free pint of coffee creamer! (These are Smartsource coupons, so they use java). For those of you with stores that will take ips for free items, hurry and get these before they max out!
Thanks Maya for letting me know!

April Showers Blog Design is having a HUGE giveaway and celebrating her OPEN waiting list that starts January 1st! April not only does blogs - but also invitations, announcements, calendars, cards, business cards, custom illustrations, and so much more! Just by pasting this paragraph on my blog I'm a winner! www.aprilshowersblogdesign.com

I hope I win something GREAT! I need some rework on my blog, lol.

Kroger Marketplace WOW!!!!!!!

My goodness, I just realized I have not shared this news with my readers yet!
Kroger is branching out and opening up new Kroger Marketplace stores in the Southwest region, with the first two going up so so close to my house!
The first store opened up in Richmond(8011 W. Grand Parkway at Mason Road, Richmond, Texas 77469) on Friday, October 9th. The second one is opening TODAY at 5 pm in Rosenberg! There is also a third one opening up in Frisco Tx on January 22nd.

I was given the opportunity to take a personal tour of the store in Richmond on November 7th and I have one word for you: "WOW"! The store was huge(125,000 sq ft to be exact). The aisles are large enough to easily glide through with the "fun carts" for the kids. The staff were helpful and attentive. Even when I entered the store(without them knowing who I was), I was handed an ad and asked if I needed a shopping cart.
Some of the highlights of the trip:
  • Large floral section right at the entrance (I love walking through the floral dept and just breathing in the scents)
  • Produce is next, and they carry Driscoll berries(remember that printable out a few weeks ago!)
  • HUGE selection of prepared meals ready to package and send home (meatballs, chicken, etc)
  • HUGE organic section -from their brochure(100 natural bulk foods like nuts, granola, seeds, snack mixes, etc. More than 100 wheat and gluten-free products and more than 400 natural and organic frozen vegetables, fruit and gourmet dinners.)
  • Large toy section. Not just the little 8 foot sections in most grocery stores, they have aisles and aisles
  • Wine steward-they have a wine steward to help you choose your wine!

Features they have that you won't find at your regular Kroger

  • Ashley furniture- yes, they have the furniture right there in the store! They have 2400 sq feet of furniture arranged in groupings just like you would find at a furniture store.
  • Little Clinic- Staffed with an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and Physician’s Assistant (PAs) to treat common illnesses, minor injuries, and to provide general wellness care. I grabbed some of their flyers and the prices were very good.
  • Fred Meyers Jewelers- yes, a jewelry store right inside the Kroger, talk about one stop shopping
  • Large selection of bath, body and home accessories
  • Kitchen Place - you can buy a toaster oven at this Kroger!

If you live close by, you should check one of these stores out. I also heard some GREAT news for those of you living near Rosenberg that are planning on scoring some of the cheap Kellogg's, Keebler, and Sunshine products. It seems the new store on Hwy 59 is going to be having the 50% off one day sale for 4 DAYS! You will have until Tuesday to get the deals!

Now, the list is not going to be released for our region until Saturday in the stores, but Courtneyrtr was sweet enough to post a list from another region on HCW. I cannot say if we are going to get the identical items on sale, but this is a GREAT starting point. Thanks Courtneyrtr for your post!

Pampers Gift to Grow Program - New features

Pampers

Pampers is making changes to their Gift to Grow program this December!
Straight from their website:
Gifts to Grow is about to get better than ever! This December, we're proud to bring you some new improvements and enhancements to the program. Some of the changes-for-the-bigger-and-better:

More rewards and partnerships: a bigger catalog of rewards along with some exclusive partnerships just for our members (like Leap Frog, Shutterfly, Olay and many other great rewards for you and your baby).

More ways to earn points: along with the new points structure, we'll be introducing bonus opportunities, and new ways to help you get to your rewards even faster—including customized offers just for you. Make sure to come back frequently to see what offers are available to help you make the most of the Gifts to Grow program.

More points on eligible products: we're working to ensure you get the most points for your Pampers purchases—higher point values on eligible products will help you earn even faster

Simpler points: you'll notice your points have changed. It is 10 times its 'old' value. For example, if you had 12 points, it was converted to 120 points. This makes redeeming your points easier—no more fractions, so all your points have a redeemable value.

You could WIN Free Diapers AND Wipes for a year: a wonderful way to welcome the new program! Redeem points to enter, and because there's a new winner every month, you can enter as often as you'd like every month. The sweepstakes will kick off in December, so keep your eyes open!
******************************
Sounds to me like they are changing to compete with the Huggies program. Also sounds good to me since before it was a slow process to get to the rewards the old way. Might make it worth it to join even if you don't have a need for diapers. If they are anything like the Huggies program, there will be so many free codes available, you might at least get some freebies just with the free codes!

Whataburger is buying me breakfast tommorrow!

If you still have not signed up for the Whataburger email newsletter, you need to do so. Every other day, they are offering a coupon for a free item, no other purchase necessary.
Well, tommorrow's coupon is for a free taquito! I drive past a Whataburger EVERYDAY on the way out of my subdivision, so this is PERFECT!

Go here to sign up, if you haven't already.

Walgreens run November 30

Sorry for the delay in posting this. It was late when I got home and didn't get a chance to and work was far too hectic today. Most these deals are still good, but the $1 Oral B coupon expired yesterday as did the Band-aid coupon(these are still GREAT deals without them, but not as big of money makers-I will post a foot note to let you know the cost with the new coupons)

Also, this was done at 3 Walgreens stores(I drive past 3 in my daily commute) so each is a little different because each store is different on how they handle coupons. So, in sum, keep in mind some of these deals are going to be YMMV(your mileage may vary) and you might not get overage at all stores.

Trans #1:
2 Aunt Jemima syrup $2.50 each - $1/2 insert 8-30 RP = $4
4 Zooth toothbrushes $2.50 each - $4 Wags coloring book coupon - 1 $1 insert 11-1 PG(these expired yesterday) = $2
2 Band aid character bandages $1.50 each - $3 Wags coloring book coupon = $0

2 Glade candles $2.50 each - $2 Parade coupons 11-15 = $1
1 Holiday pencil .39 - .26 in ad coupon = .13
1 M&Ms = .89
-$3 Register Reward
Tax -.36
Cost oop: $0.63

Earned $5 for Zooth, $2 for Aunt Jemima, $1 for Glade and $1 for Bandaids

Trans #2:
1 Aunt Jemima syrup = $2.50
1 Quaker oatmeal = $2.50
2 Glade candles $2.50 each - $2 Parade mag coupon 11-15= $1
6 Band aid character bandages $1.50 each - $9 Wags coloring book coupon - 6 .50 insert 8-2SS (these expired yesterday) = -$3
3 Ecotrin $3.49 each - $10/3 coupon 10-11 RP(cashier adjusted to $5.97) - $4.50 in ad coupon= $0
1 Holiday pencil .39 - .26 in ad coupon = .13
2 Cheetos $2.99 each = $5.98
-$5 and $3 Register Reward
Cost oop: $1.11

Earned $2 for Aunt Jemima/Quaker, $1 for Glade and $1 for Bandaids

Trans #3:
1 Aunt Jemima syrup = $2.50
1 Quaker oatmeal = $2.50
4 Zooth toothbrushes $2.50 each - $4 Wags coloring book coupon - 1 $1 insert11-1PG(these expired yesterday,register beeped after first so cashier only took 1) = $5
4 Band aid character bandages $1.50 each - $6 Wags coloring book coupon - 4 .50 insert 8-2SS(these expired yesterday) = -$2
3 Ecotrin $3.49 each - $10/3 coupon 10-11 RP(beeps for cashier to enter price) - $4.50 in ad coupon= -$4.03
1 Holiday pencil .39 - .26 in ad coupon = .13
-$3 Register Reward
Cost oop: $1.10

Earned $5 for 4 Zooth, $2 for Aunt Jemima/Quaker, and $1 for Bandaids

So overall cost: $3.63 + $9.11 + $4.10 = $16.84

Earned: $9 + $4 + $8 = $21

Profit of $4.16

As you can see, the Ecotrin is a ymmv. The Oral B was an issue as well yesterday due to the coupons beeping. We got new $1/2 coupons this past weekend that still makes them a small money maker (if you use 2). I am not sure if those will beep or not as I have yet to test them.

Good luck and happy shopping!
